Summer Couscous Salad

This is the perfect salad for summer as it's fresh and simple to make. Not only is couscous high in fibre, but it will also keep you full for longer. Our whole family enjoy's this salad for lunch.

Makes: 1 big bowl of salad

Ingredients:

1/2 cup whole-grain couscous

1 1/2 cups boiling water

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon minced green chilli

1 cup sprouts

1/3 cup grated carrot

1 cup roughly chopped coriander

1/4 cup diced onion

1/2 cup orange pieces

1/2 cup pomegranate seeds

1 tablespoon dried apricot pieces

1 tablespoon slivered pistachios

1 tablespoon sunflower seeds

1 tablespoon slivered almonds

I also made a video to make this recipe easier to understand:

Instructions:

1) First add the couscous to a heat-safe bowl and pour the boiling water in it. Cover the bowl with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes.

2) In a small bowl add the lemon juice, pepper, salt and minced green chilli. Whisk it up to make the dressing.

3) In a large salad bowl add the sprouts, grated carrot, roughly chopped coriander, diced onion, orange pieces, pomegranate seeds, dried apricot pieces, slivered pistachios, sunflower seeds and slivered almonds. Toss this up.

4) Add the cooked couscous and dressing to the salad. Toss one more time so all the ingredients are well combined.

Enjoy!

I really enjoyed your summer couscous salad recipe the fresh ingredients and simple steps make it feel perfect for warm days. It also made me think about balancing creative tasks with everyday work, like when I sometimes Pay Someone for SEO Copywriting just to stay focused. Has anyone here used PayssomeoneTo to help manage writing work while enjoying great food content like this?

I loved your summer couscous salad post and how you made the recipe seem so bright and easy for warm days. I remember once I was writing a long paper for school and needed Manuscript editing service to help me fix my writing so my teacher could clearly understand what I was trying to say about my own project. Your post made me think about how simple steps can make great results in both food and writing.

I liked how this summer couscous salad recipe made eating healthy feel simple and tasty because the steps were easy to follow and the ingredients sounded fresh. It reminded me of a week in school when I needed online finance class help to understand a tough topic, and getting clear explanations made everything click much faster. It shows that having simple guidance can really make a hard task feel easier.
