My summer break began last week so I decided I would post a new game idea that you can do with your family. Most of us know the game of bean boozled where you have two jelly beans and they look the same but one of them is a good flavour and one is a terrible flavou r(like chocolate pudding and canned dog food) then a person picks one bean and another person picks the second one who ever gets the good one gets a point(sometimes both can be good or bad it's just a game of luck) This is a two player game but with my truffle version you can play with as many players as you like.I want to mention that I originally got the idea from this video!
How to make the truffles-
One large bar or dark or milk chocolate (I used milk)
Filling of choice-
Caramel or salad dressing
Nutella or soy sauce
Wasabi or blueberry jam
Vanilla cream or mayonnaise
Melt your chocolate either in a double boiler or in a microwave.
Temper your chocolate (this website really helped me understand about why and how should I temper chocolate)
Pour you melted chocolate in a mould and flip the mould so there is only a shell of chocolate.
Add in your filling-make sure you make at least one good and one bad and that both of them are in the same type of mould.
Cover it with the rest of your chocolate and refrigerate for at least 4 hours preferably over night.
If you want you can decorate the truffles with luster dust or sprinkes
Play the game by picking a even number of truffles each (example if there are 6 truffle and 2 players then pick three truffles each) then try the similar ones one by one and keep a score board on who got the bad ones and who got the good ones, you can make a funny video of you trying this challenge as well!
I planned to make a video but it din't come out that well so I decided to add many photos.
You can fill your truffles with anything you want- vanilla frosting or mayonnaise or a mint buttercream or wasabi, the options are endless.
Yup thats me holding a truffle which could have had almonds and chocolate chips or spicy peanuts!
