1.Blood Orange Sorbet- If you saw my Maldives Adventure post you will know that I loved this treat. In the warm weather this cool, refreshing, tangy and sweet dessert was incredible!If you have blood oranges at home, you can try this tasty treat out.


2.Green apple mousse with lychee frozen clouds.I tried this treat at CaperBerry and I loved it, this dessert was sweet, cold and very refreshing. The lychee clouds were cold and sweet but had a nice hint of lychee in it.You all can try to make the green apple mousse at home and create an amazing dessert.I loved that this dessert was super innovative.


3.Chocolate chip cookie bars- I made these chocolate chip cookie bars and they were amazing. Crispy and gooey these cookie bars were easy to make and also easy to eat!

You can pack these cookie bars in your lunch box or just have it as an after dinner dessert.


Recipe- Chocolate chip cookie bars-By Preppy Kitchen but I made some changes like I reduced the sugar as it was too sweet.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 270g

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tbsp corn starch

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled 170g

  • 1  cup packed light brown sugar 200g

  • 10 tbsp castor sugar 50g

  • 2 eggs large, room temperature

  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract 15mL

  • 2 cups chocolate chips 200g


Instructions

  • Set oven to 350F. Line an 8x8 inch baking sheet with parchment paper and melt the butter you'll need for the recipe iIn a small bowl.

  • Add the flour, salt, baking soda, and corn starch to a medium bowl then whisk together and set aside.

  • Pour the melted butter into a large bowl. Add the white and brown sugars and whisk together, they'll form a somewhat thick slurry.

  • Add the eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture and whisk together.

  • Dump the dry mixture into the wet and mix until just combined then stir in the chocolate chips, mixing so they're well distributed.

  • Transfer the dough to an 8x8 inch baking dish lined with parchment paper and spread toward the edges giving it a rough smooth.

  • Bake for about 30 minutes at 350. The cookie bars are done when the edges are set and golden brown and a toothpick or skewer inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cookie bars cool in the pan for about an hour before removing and cutting.

  • You can top warm cookie bars with ice cream for an incredible dessert.


4.Cupcakes and cream ice cream- Most of us know the classic cookies and cream ice cream, this is similar to it but instead of cookies you use cupcakes.

It is super easy to make and also tastes incredible. My mom came up with the idea of the recipe and I came up with how to eat it!It was so tasty my bowl was finished in a minute!


5. Sticky Toffee Pudding- I loved the sticky toffee pudding in Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen. You can make sticky toffee pudding at home as well. This dessert was sweet but was also balanced out with a little bit of salt. It had a flavour of toffee and was served warm, with a dollop of cream.
