Most of us are at home so I wanted to write a post about indoor camping, it is super fun and there are less bugs! Inspired by s'mores ( very important part of camping) I wrote a quatrain poem inspired by marshmallows -
JOLLY OLD FELLOW
LIKE CLOUDS IN THE SKY
LIGHT AS A BUTTERFLY
PINK, BLUE AND YELLOW
Rai's ideas on the best indoor camp ever!
1.Build a fort- IF you have a tent at home you can use that, but building a fort is much more fun! You can use blankets, pillows, chairs, LED lights and accessories to make your fort fun.
You can also create different areas in your fort for different things- dining area- keep chairs and a table out side your fort, sleeping area- put pillows, blankets and books to make it calm and cozy and movie theatre- you can use a projector or a computer or TV to make a movie theatre, put chairs and pillows to make is more comfortable and make popcorn for everyone!
2.Treasure hunt- Ask one of the members of the camp to set up a treasure hunt around the house. This way your camp feels like a real adventure. The harder the clues are, the more fun it is!
3. Indoor s'mores-One of the best parts of camping is s'mores but unfortunately we don't have a bonfire in the house. Indoor s'mores is similar to real s'mores but instead of toasting the marshmallow over the fire you toast it on the stove. What I do is I first toast the marshmallow and put it on the chocolate which is on the cracker and then I microwave it for about 30 seconds so the chocolate in my s'more is melted and my marshmallow is gooey and yummy.
Try out something new-You can try out a new recipe, a new game or some arts or crafts. You can do tie dying like I did and being creative and dong somethings new is super fun.
I tie dyed T-shirts and made homemade pizza
I hope this post inspires you to be creative and have fun at home.
